Prior to administering the oath of office to the new Councilman, <br />Mayor Graham presented a plaquc in recognition and appreciation <br />for 24 years service to H. C. Greene who had been Acting Interim <br />City Manager prior to the hiring of David H. Doty on March 3, 1983. <br />Also, Resolution 83 -020 was presented declaring Harold C. Greene <br />Acting City Manager Emeritus comending him and expressing the <br />appreciation of the City Council for his dedication to the City of <br />Paris. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Council- <br />man Wilson for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes <br />0 nays. <br />City Judge, Cedric Townsend, administered the oath of office to Joe <br />Graham, Ward Four, Nathan J. Bell, Ward Five, and Jeff Hoog, Ward <br />Seven, and the new Councilmen assumed their seats at the Council <br />table. <br />Mayor Graham expressed the appreciation of the City Council and citizens <br />of Paris for the services of W.
