Resolution No. 2107 re- appointing Frances Ellis and Joan Mathis, and appointing <br />Reeves Hayter as members of the Library Advisory Board was presented. A motion <br />was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Graham for adoption of <br />the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2107 . <br />WHEREAS, the Citv Council of the City of Paris did in <br />Resolution No. 1820 establish the Library Advisory Board, to consist <br />of seven (7) resident citizens of the City of Paris, and did there- <br />after in Resolution No. 1978 expand such Board to nine (9) members, <br />with one of the on <br />members being appointed for one year and <br />one of the expansion members being appointed for two years, and <br />thereafter all appointments to be for three year tc;rms; and, <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Frances Ellis, Joan Mathis <br />and Jerry Stephens will expire on June 30, 1981, and the Mayor of <br />the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, having re- appointed Fiances Ellis <br />and Joan Mathis and appointed Reeves Hayter, to serve on the <br />Library Advisory Board for a term of three (3) years, beginning <br />July 1, 1981 and ending June 30, 1984, and has submitted the names <br />of such persons to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the re- appointments of Frances Ellis and .Joan Mathis, <br />and the appointment of Reeves Hayter, as members of the Library <br />Advisory Board, for a term of three (3) years, beginning <br />ul July 1 1.981 <br />and ending June 30, 1984, are by the City Council of the City of Paris <br />hereby approved and confirmed. <br />I <br />Passed and adopted this 8th day of June, 1981. <br />Billy urnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />�1 -1.
