RESOLUTION NO. 2120 WHEREAS, the City of Paris, acting through its Library, is desirous of continuing participation in the Northeast Texas Library System; and, WHEREAS, the Library Advisory Board recommends the appointment of Jackie Alsobrook as lay representative to the Northeast Texas Library System; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Jackie Alsobrook, be, and she is hereby ap- pointed as lay respresentative to the Northeast Texas Library System for a term of one (1) year, beginning September 1, 1981 and ending August 31, 1982. Haynes, City Attorney 28;5 Ci�y Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for 2400' of fire hose for the Fire Department. A motion was made by Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman McGee authorizing the advertisement of bids. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Kohls voting nay. City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for a closed circuit T. V. System for the Police Department. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Graham authorizing the bids. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Kohls voting nay. City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise forbids for engineering instrument for the Engineering Department. A motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Williams authorizing the bid. The motion carried 7 ayes, o nays. Mr. Tom Hensel, CPA, McClanahan & Holmes representive, appeared before the Council and discussed an internal control report prepared for the Council. City Manager Sokoll advised the Council of the approval of an EPA Grant for Step II of the Infiltration /Inflow Sewer Project.
