RESOLUTION NO. 2120 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris, acting through its Library, <br />is desirous of continuing participation in the Northeast <br />Texas Library System; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Library Advisory Board recommends the <br />appointment of Jackie Alsobrook as lay representative to <br />the Northeast Texas Library System; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That Jackie Alsobrook, be, and she is hereby ap- <br />pointed as lay respresentative to the Northeast Texas <br />Library System for a term of one (1) year, beginning <br />September 1, 1981 and ending August 31, 1982. <br />Passed and adopted this 10th day of August, 1981. <br />ATTEST: <br />H. C. Green t, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS FORM: <br />K. Haynes, City Attorney <br />28;5 <br />Ci�y Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for 2400' of <br />fire hose for the Fire Department. A motion was made by Councilman Graham, <br />seconded by Councilman McGee authorizing the advertisement of bids. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Kohls voting nay. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for a closed <br />circuit T. V. System for the Police Department. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Williams, seconded by Councilman Graham authorizing the bids. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Kohls voting nay. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise forbids for engineering <br />instrument for the Engineering Department. A motion was made by Councilman Francis, <br />seconded by Councilman Williams authorizing the bid. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />o nays. <br />Mr. Tom Hensel, CPA, McClanahan & Holmes representive, appeared before the Council <br />and discussed an internal control report prepared for the Council. <br />City Manager Sokoll advised the Council of the approval of an EPA Grant for Step II <br />of the Infiltration /Inflow Sewer Project. <br />
