29 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2121 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did <br />in Resolution No. 1820 establish the Library Advisory <br />Board, to consist of seven (7) resident citizens of the <br />City of Paris, and did thereafter in Resolution No. 1978 <br />expand such Board to nine (9) members, with one of the <br />expansion members being appointed for two years, and there- <br />after all appointments to be for three year terms; and, <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of <br />the Library Advisory Board due to the resignation of <br />Richard Giles, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy <br />Joe Burnett, having appointed Larry Loven, to serve the <br />unexpired term of Richard Giles, which ends June 30, 1983, <br />and has submitted the name of such person to the City <br />Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the appointment of Larry Loven, as a member <br />of the Library Advisory Board, to serve the unexpired <br />term of Richard Giles, which ends June 30, 1983, is by <br />the City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved <br />and confirmed, <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of September, 1981, <br />$ Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />'_ - - - /-,-, le, � S� - � r <br />H. Greene, City Clerk <br />APPROVED TO FORM, <br />"T. aynes, City Attorney <br />Mr. Dick Boots, Director of Parks and Recreation, appeared before the Council <br />requesting authorization to advertise for bids for light poles & fixtures at <br />Wise Field. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman <br />Francis approving the request. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nay Councilman <br />Kohls voting nay. <br />
