It.-- <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for Oil <br />leasing of City owned property. After discussion, a motion was made by <br />Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Williams authorizing advertising <br />of bids for City owned property with the exception of City parks. The motion <br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for a Tire <br />Changer for the Garage; a Gas Pump Addition for the Warehouse; a Grease and Oil <br />Distribution Center for the Warehouse; a Tractor Backhoe for Water Distribtuion <br />Department. A motion was made by Councilman McGee, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams approving the request. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Fire Chief Burgin appeared before the Council and made recommendations for an <br />Ordinance restricting open burning within the City limits of Paris. After <br />discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman <br />Wortham authorizing the preparation of an Ordinance embracing the recommendation <br />of the Fire Chief, and requiring a preview by the City Council prior to the next <br />Council meeting. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested the Council to appoint a Committee to review <br />the Water & Sewer rates. Mayor Burnett appointed a Committee composed of <br />Councilman Francis, Councilman McGee, and Councilman Williams. <br />
