Y, 335 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2131 <br />WHEREAS, Texas Power & Light Company did, on December 9, <br />1981, file an application to amend tariff to establish a pro- <br />cedure for approval of payments to affiliates in connection <br />with its fuel cost factor tariff schedule which would affect <br />the costs of electric service within the City of Paris, to <br />become effective on January ;13s,'1982; and, <br />WHEREAS, after having reviewed the application and <br />having received information from Texas Power & Light Company, <br />it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Paris, <br />that such proposed amended fuel cost factor tariff schedule <br />should be suspended for a period of 120 days from December 9, <br />1981, for study, investigation, receipt of evidence and <br />public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris <br />at its next regular meeting; and, <br />WHEREAS, a copy of this resolution has been provided <br />Texas Power & Light Company prior to its consideration by <br />the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that a public hearing, be, and the same is hereby <br />set for 7:00 O'clock P, M. on the 11th day of January, 1982, <br />in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, for the purpose <br />of receiving any and all information germane to Texas Power <br />& Light Company's application to amend its tariff, filed in <br />the form of an Application and Statement of Intent with the <br />City of Paris on the 9th day of December, 1981; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 43 (d) <br />of the Public Utility Regulatory Act, that the operation of <br />Texas Power & Light Company's application to amend tariff to <br />establish a procedure for approval of payments to affiliates <br />in connection with its fuel cost factor tariff .schedule filed <br />with the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 9th day of <br />December, 1981, be, and the same is hereby suspended for a <br />period of 120 days for further study,'investigation, receipt <br />of evidence and public hearing. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of December, 1981. <br />. 40VV16 Burnett, <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
