The Council next discussed the matter of litter and unsightly areas. Existing <br />Ordinances applying to these items were also discussed and the Council directed <br />the staff to determine a firm policy on enforcement of the existing Ordinances, <br />and to clearly define what is unsightly. <br />Mayor Malone declared the Council in executive session and the regular session <br />was declared closed. <br />Discussion was had on the matter of offering a reward for information leading <br />to arrest of person stealing City property. <br />Mayor Malone declared the executive session closed and the regular session open. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams authoriz- <br />ingthe preparation of an Ordinance offering a reward of $500.00 for information <br />leading to the arrest and conviction for stealing City property. MCCOLLUM, ACTING CITY CLERK <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />April 15, 1981 <br />The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris was held Wednesday, <br />April 15, 1981 at 7:00 P. M. City Council Room. Mayor Malone called the meet- <br />ing to order with the following Councilmen present: W. C. Francis, Walter F. <br />Williams, Billy J. Burnett, Travis Wortham, and Kenneth E. Kohls, Also present <br />were City Manager, Robert W. Sokoll, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, <br />H. C. Greene. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the special meeting was called in compliance with <br />the Charter of the City of Paris for the purpose of canvassing the returns of <br />the Regular City Election held on the 4th day of April, 1981. <br />Returns from each of the three wards that being Ward Four , Ward Five, and <br />Ward Seven presented, examined, and read aloud by the Mayor. <br />Resolution No. 2096 declaring the results of the election was presented. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Kohls for <br />adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
