E A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Francis to take from the table the item concerning stop signs on 4th Street S. W. and 6th Street S. W. Mayor Malone called for the reading of an Ordinance previously authorized establishing a no parking zone on the South side of DeShong Drive, from the 10 Block through the 600 Block and which also incorporated No Parking on 4th Street S. W. and 6th Street S. W. ORDINANCE NO 2501 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29 -112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING THREE NO PARKING AREAS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1980. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Kyle for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Malone invited the Council's attention to the report and plans prepared by the Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Consulting Engineers on the Southeast Drainage Project. Director of Public Works, Darrell Gunn recommended the approval of the plans as presented. A motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Burnett approving the plans as presented. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Malone announced that the Council would go into executive session and the regular session was declared closed. Discussion was had on legal matters regarding Reno sewer project. Mayor Malone declared the executive session closed and the regular session open. Mayor Malone appointed a committee composed of Councilman Kohls, Councilman Kyle, and Councilman Malone to review proposals for contracting Sewer Service with the City of Reno.
