E <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Francis to take <br />from the table the item concerning stop signs on 4th Street S. W. and 6th <br />Street S. W. Mayor Malone called for the reading of an Ordinance previously <br />authorized establishing a no parking zone on the South side of DeShong Drive, <br />from the 10 Block through the 600 Block and which also incorporated No Parking <br />on 4th Street S. W. and 6th Street S. W. <br />ORDINANCE NO 2501 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO PARKING MAP <br />ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29 -112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING THREE <br />NO PARKING AREAS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1980. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Kyle for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone invited the Council's attention to the report and plans prepared by <br />the Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Consulting Engineers on the Southeast Drainage <br />Project. Director of Public Works, Darrell Gunn recommended the approval of <br />the plans as presented. A motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by <br />Councilman Burnett approving the plans as presented. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the Council would go into executive session and the <br />regular session was declared closed. <br />Discussion was had on legal matters regarding Reno sewer project. <br />Mayor Malone declared the executive session closed and the regular session open. <br />Mayor Malone appointed a committee composed of Councilman Kohls, Councilman <br />Kyle, and Councilman Malone to review proposals for contracting Sewer Service <br />with the City of Reno. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MICHAEL E.
