ORDINANCE NO. 2514 <br />R ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON LOTS 14 AND 15, CITY BLOCK 305, ON PROPERTY <br />BELONGING TO JOHN F. POWERS AND ROBERT L. POWERS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE - FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Kyle for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Lowry Carrington <br />for a change in zoning from an Office District to a Neighborhood Service District <br />on Lot 2, City Block 248 -B, located at 1954 Clarksville Street. <br />Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. Lowry Carrington appeared <br />in his behalf stating that retail sales type of business was proposed for the <br />area with such businesses as picture framing and photographic. <br />Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared and the public <br />hearing was declared closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2515 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 248B, ON PROPERTY <br />BELONGING TO LOWRY L. CARRINGTON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br />DESIGNATED AS AN OFFICE DISTRICT (0); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Kohls, seconded by Councilman <br />Burnett for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Eastfield <br />Development Company for a change in Zoning from a One Family Dwelling District <br />No. 2 to a Commercial District on part of Lot 14, City Block 259 located on <br />the Southwest corner of Loop 286, and 31st N. E. <br />Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. Don Wilson appeared in <br />behalf of the petitioners. Mr. Wilson stated that there were no immediate <br />plans to develope the property, but wanted to secure proper zoning prior to <br />completing the residential portion of the adjoining sub - division. <br />Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared and the public <br />hearing was declared closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2516 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON PART OF LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 259, ON PROPERTY BE- <br />LONGING TO EASTFIELD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, SO AS TO INCUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF02); AND DESIGN- <br />ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />
