ORDINANCE NO. 2514 R ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON LOTS 14 AND 15, CITY BLOCK 305, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN F. POWERS AND ROBERT L. POWERS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE - FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Kyle for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Lowry Carrington for a change in zoning from an Office District to a Neighborhood Service District on Lot 2, City Block 248 -B, located at 1954 Clarksville Street. Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. Lowry Carrington appeared in his behalf stating that retail sales type of business was proposed for the area with such businesses as picture framing and photographic. Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared and the public hearing was declared closed. CARRINGTON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN OFFICE DISTRICT (0); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Kohls, seconded by Councilman Burnett for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Eastfield Development Company for a change in Zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 to a Commercial District on part of Lot 14, City Block 259 located on the Southwest corner of Loop 286, and 31st N. E. Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. Don Wilson appeared in behalf of the petitioners. Mr. Wilson stated that there were no immediate plans to develope the property, but wanted to secure proper zoning prior to completing the residential portion of the adjoining sub - division. Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared and the public hearing was declared closed. ORDINANCE NO. 2516 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON PART OF LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 259, ON PROPERTY BE- LONGING TO EASTFIELD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, SO AS TO INCUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF02); AND DESIGN- ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
