RESOLTUION NO. 2040 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its regular meeting on the 9th day of June, 1980 approve the advertisement for bids for construction of 498 linear feet of 6' high chain link fence at Record Park and 505 linear feet of 6' high chain link fence at Johnson Park, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., Wednesday, July 9, 1980; and, WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction project was made by Cyclone Fence Sales, Division of United States Steel Corporation, P. 0. Box 478, Dallas, Texas 75221, and it should be awarded contract for such construction; and, WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the bid of Cyclone Fence Sales, Division of United States Steel Corporation, for the above described fence project in the amount of $6,439.26 is hereby accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents; and, BE IT FURTF.ER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the contract for above described fence construction, upon the terms and con- ditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto with Cyclone Fence Sales, Division of United States Steel Corporation.
