3v <br />Mayor Malone requested the Council to consider appointments to the North East <br />Texas Library Association. <br />Resolution No. 2046 appointing Mrs. Jackie Alsobrook as lay representative and <br />Mrs. Clara Haslam as alternate to NETLS. was presented. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Resolution. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2046 . <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris, acting through its Library, is <br />desirous of continuing participation in the Northeast Texas Library <br />System; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Library Advisory Board recommends the <br />appointment of Jackie Alsobrook as lay representative and <br />Claire Haslam as alternate lay representative to the Northeast <br />Texas Library System; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That Jackie Alsobrook, be, and she is hereby appointed as <br />lay representative to the Northeast Texas Library System for a <br />term of one (1) year, beginning September 1, 1980 and ending <br />August 31, 1981, and that Claire Haslam, be, and she is hereby <br />appointed as alternate lay representative to the Northeast Texas <br />Library System for a term of one (1) year, beginning September 1, <br />1980 and ending August 31, 1981. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of August, 1980. <br />Michae E.
