4('-) <br />11 1 <br />City Manager Sokoll stated that Allied Fence Company of Dallas, low bidder on <br />the project, could not meet City specifications and he recommended award of the <br />contract to Pridemore Fence Company who was second low bidder on the project. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams for approval <br />of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Harold Greene, Finance Director, was appointed as City of Paris Representative to <br />Ad Hoc Red River Authority Committee on a motion by Councilman Kohls, seconded by <br />Councilman Wortham. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Consideration of authorization of an amendment to Subdivision Ordinance No. 1315, <br />eliminating minor plats was tabled at the request of City Attorney Haynes, on a <br />motion by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams. The motion carried <br />7 ayes 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented copies of the Annual Report to the Council stating it <br />had been prepared by the Director of Finance in accordance with City Charter <br />requirements. <br />Resolution No 2050 extending emergency ambulance service to Lamar County residents <br />outside the city limits of Paris was presented. Discussion of the matter indicated <br />that most of the Council favored accepting the Lamar County Commissioners Court <br />offer of a flat rate subsidy of $60,000.00 per year as opposed to 40% of the <br />$180,000.00 projected deficit for operating the service. Mayor Malone directed <br />the City Attorney to remove all references of transfer service out of the contract <br />wity the County. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams for adoption of the Resolution with the deletion directed by Mayor Malone. <br />The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Kyle voting nay. <br />
