J1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20S4 <br />WHEREAS, Article 4436a-1 of Vernon's Annotated Civil <br />Statutes requires that the Advisory Board of Health of the City of <br />Paris and County of Lamar shall consist of seven (7) members <br />who are resident citizens of Lamar County who have resided <br />within the County for a period of more than three (3) years next <br />preceding the time of their appointments; and, <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the <br />Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris and County of Lamar <br />due to John L. Barnett moving from the City of Paris, and it is <br />necessary to appoint his successor, and the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Michael E. Malone, has recommended the appointment of <br />Richard'Bercher, to serve the unexpired term of John Barnett, <br />which ends December 31, 1980, and has submitted the name of <br />such person to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, That the appointment of Richard Bercher, as a <br />member of the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris and <br />County of Lamar, to serve the unexpired term of John L. Barnett, <br />which ends December 31, 1980, is by the City Council of the City <br />of Paris hereby approved and confirmed. <br />Passed and adopted this 8th day of September, 1980. <br />r <br />sic ael E.
