N Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the request of Sammy Leverett to place a mobile home outside a mobile home park on Lot 6, City Block 321, located on the northeast corner of Loop 286 N. E. and Spur 139. Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and none appeared. Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appared and the public hearing was declared closed. Councilman Kohls made a motion to deny the request. The motion failed for lack of a second. A Motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams to grant the request. The motion carried 5 ayes, 2 nays, Councilman Kohls, and Councilman Kyle voting nay. City Manager Sokoll advised the Council of the need to call a public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant Pre - application for November 3rd and November 10th. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Burnett calling a public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant Pre - application for November 3, and November 10th. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. City Manager Sokoll presented a request from Roy Williamson to annex properties of the Sunrise Estates, Part 1. The City Manager recommended annexation of additional land in and around Sunrise Estates adjacent to the existing city limits between Pine Mill Road and Highway 82 East. Mr. Roy Williamson appeared before the Council in behalf of his request. ORDINANCE NO. 2533 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATE ZONING UPON ANNEXATION, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Malone requested a motion to take from the table the item previously tabled in this meeting concerning the final plat of Sunrise Estates Part 1. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Burnett to take from the table the approval of the final plat of Sunrise Estates Part 1. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams to approve the final plat of the Sunrise Estates Part 1 subject to the Director of Public Works exceptions.
