<br />Mayor Malone called for the tabulation of bids for the purchase of three 1J2
<br />ton pickups trucks, and the following bids were presented:

<br />A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Burnett to
<br />approve the low bid of Kosterman Motor Company. The motion carried 6 ayes,
<br />0 nays, Councilman Kohls abstaining.
<br />Mayor Malone called for the tabulation of bids for one 3J4 ton pickup truck
<br />and the following bids were received:

<br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams to

<br />Mayor Malone called for the tabulation of bids for the purchase of one water pump
<br />for the landfill, and the following bids were presented:

<br />After discussion concerning the specification of the water pump, a motion was
<br />made by Councilman Kyle, seconded by Councilman Williams to table the awarding
<br />of the bid. The motion carried 6 ayes, I nay, Councilman Burnett voting nay.
<br />Mayor Malone called for tabulation of bids for a portable welder for the City
<br />Garage and the following bids were presented:

<br />B & J Welding Company, Paris 1,433.00
<br />A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Wortham to
<br />award the bid to the Grand Oxygen Company in the amount of $1,412.00 The
<br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
