93 <br />Tri -State Tank, Kansas City, Kansas $ 8,000.00 <br />Wes Scott, Paris, Texas 20,000.00 <br />City Manager Sokoll recommended that the bids be rejected due to the cost of <br />one truck and the fact that the other truck did not meet the specifications, <br />that the purchase of the vehicle be declared an emergency, and that the City <br />search the open market and make a purchase of a suitable vehicle. A motion <br />was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Burnett approving the <br />recommendation of the City Manager. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone called for tabulation of bids for one fuel filter /separator and <br />pumping unit for Cox Field Airport, and the following bids were presented: <br />Wilson Oil Company, Paris (Used Unit) $ 2,000.00 <br />Allied Oil Equipment Co., Dallas (New Unit) 9,195.00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Burnett awarding <br />the bid to the Wilson Oil Company for a used unit in the amount of $2,000.00. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone called for the tabulation of bids for the purchase and installation <br />of one 10,000 gallon underground fuel tank at Cox Field, and the following bids <br />were presented: <br />Neuberger, Inc., Paris <br />Allied Oil Equipment, Dallas <br />$14,000.00 <br />16,650.00 <br />Resolution No. 2060 authorizing and directing the Mayor to execute a contract <br />for furnishing and installing one fiberglass fuel storage tank at Cox Field <br />with Heuberger, Inc. in the amount of $14,000.00 was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of <br />the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
