Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Ralph B. Shelton <br />II for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to <br />a Commercial District (c) on part of Lot 28, City Block 259 located on the south <br />side of E. Hickory Street, 475 feet east of 25th N. E. <br />Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. Ralph Shelton appeared <br />requesting favorable consideration. <br />Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared and the public <br />hearing was declared closed and <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2544 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 28, CITY BLOCK 259, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO RALPH B. SHELTON II, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING, DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); AND DE- <br />SIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Kyle for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Rayburn Bell <br />for a change in zoning from a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F) to a Commercial <br />District (C) on Lots 10 and 11, City Block 55 located on the northeast corner <br />of Graham Street and 4th N. W. <br />Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. Bell appeared stating his <br />desire for the zoning. <br />Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared and the public <br />hearing was declared closed and <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2545 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 10 AND 11, CITY BLOCK 55, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO RAYBURN BELL AND CALVIN R. GIBSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); <br />AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman <br />Burnett for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open to receive citizens input in the <br />formation of a plan and designation of specific projects in the expansion of <br />the program approved under the current Community Development Block Grant and <br />called for comments from the audience. <br />James Owens, 936 2nd N. E. requested paving for 2nd N. E. from Provine Street <br />north to Santa Fe Street. <br />Mrs. Callie Powell, 1012 1st N. E. requested paving for 1st N. E. from Provine <br />Street north to Santa Fe Street. <br />133 <br />
