� � J <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 . <br />WHEREAS, Texas Power & Light Company did, on January 4, <br />1980, file a schedule of rates for electric service within the City of <br />Paris and thereafter on the 14th day of January, 1980 the City Council <br />in Resolution No. 2004 suspended such schedule of rates for a period <br />of 120 days from February 9, 1980 and provided for a hearing before <br />the City Council on the 11th day of February, 1980; and, <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was had; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it to be <br />in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that the City of Paris <br />pursue this rate matter before the Public Utility Commission, in <br />Docket No. 3006, jointly with other cities so situated and that upon <br />final determination by the Public Utility Commission that the City of <br />Paris be bound by the rate schedule approved by the Public Utility <br />Commission and placed in effect by Texas Power & Light Company <br />throughout its service area; and, <br />WHEREAS, a copy of this resolution has been provided Texas <br />Power & Light Company prior to its consideration by the City Council <br />of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Texas Power & Light Company rate schedule, <br />approved by the Public Utility Commission in Docket No. 3006, to be <br />placed in operation throughout the Texas Power & Light Company <br />unincorporated service area, is accepted as binding upon the City <br />of Paris upon the placing of the same in effect throughout the <br />Texas Power & Light Company service area. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of February, 1980. <br />i <br />1 <br />Michael E.
