Mayor Malone requested the Council's approval of a previously authorized <br />Ordinance establishing stop signs at various locations. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2491 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC - <br />CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29 -80 OF SAID CODE; <br />PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR <br />PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE OF MARCH 1, 1980. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman <br />Burnett for approval of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the Council would go into executive session and <br />the regular session was declared closed. <br />City Attorney Haynes discussed with the Council legal matters. <br />Mayor Malone declared the executive session closed, and the regular session <br />open. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MICHAEL E.
