MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />May 30, 1978 <br />A special meeting of the City-Council was held on Tuesday, May 30, 1978 at 5:15 P.M. <br />Mayor Malone called the meeting to order with the following Councilmen present: <br />Raymond Wunsch, Billy J. Burnett, James W. Farris. Also present were City Manager <br />Robert W. Sokoll and City Clerk H. C. Greene. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the purpose of the called meeting was to receive the <br />proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1978 and ending 30, 1979. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented the proposed.budget and reviewed some of the highlights - <br />of the budget. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested that the Council call for a public hearing as required <br />by City Charter. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett and seconded by Councilman <br />Wunsch to call for a public hearing on the proposed budget for June 15, 1978 at <br />7:00 P.M. The motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Councilman Malone advised that items appearing on the agenda concerning the request <br />of the City of Reno to discuss waste water treatment service by the City of Paris in <br />executive session and action on the Reno request was being passed. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br />ATTEST: H.
