RESOLUTION NO. 1877 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, in special emer- <br />gency session convened, does hereby deem it in the best .interest of the <br />citizens of Paris to declare a state of emergency due to the fact that <br />the Water Department of the City of Paris is unable to meet the water <br />�— demands of its customers; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to exercise the <br />emergency powers established in Section 31 �30 of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That outside useage of City of Paris water be prohibited <br />beginning 8:00 A. M. on the 12th day of July, 1978; and, . <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such mandatory rationing <br />shall remain in effect until 8:00 A. M. on the 15th day of July, 1978, <br />and thereafter the rationing procedures established in Section 31--30 <br />of the Code of Ordinances of the City .of Paris shall remain "in <br />effect until further notice. .• <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of July, 1978. <br />.�_ . 10 <br />Michael E.
