Director of Community Development, Joe McCollum appeared before the Council <br />and advised that the City of Paris had been invited to submit an application <br />for Community Development Block Grant for $750,.000.00 which would be awarded <br />over a two `-ear period with the first year heirâ–º§ $92,807.00. Discussion was <br />had on the use of the $92,807.00 and. Mr. McCollum advised that a public hearing <br />would be called for September 6, 1978 at 7 :00 P.M. in the Lamar County Electric <br />Co-Op Building, 1485 N. GREENE, CITY CLERK <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS` <br />September 7, 1978 <br />The special council meeting of the City of Paris was held Thursday, September 7, <br />1978 at 5:30 P.M., Paris Junior College Learning Center Room 192. Mayor Malone <br />called the meeting to order with the following Council members present: B. J. <br />Burnett, Jim Farris; George Fisher, Dade Philley, Wdlter F. Williams,. and Raymond <br />Wunsch. Also present were City Manager, Robert W. 90koll, City Engineer, Ennis <br />Killingsworth, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. <br />Mr. Bob Hayter and Mr. Reeves Hayter, Consulting Engineers employed by the <br />City to conduct the Infiltration Inflow Survey presented a TV closed circuit <br />film review of TV film showing the conditions of various sewer mains through, <br />out the City. The use of TV cameras to record sewer main.conditions , is part <br />of the contract with the consulting firm to survey the sewer system. <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned. <br />MICHAEL E.
