2 1 <br />Councilman Fisher that the final plat of Pine Mill Village No. 6 be approved <br />subject to the exceptions required by the Director of Public Works, and the <br />stipulations made by the Planning and Zoning Commission that funds be placed <br />in escrow by the developer for installation of curb and gutter along Pine <br />Mill Road. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented the replat of lots 7, 8, and 9, Block R, <br />Tanglewood Addition No. 8. Motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded <br />by Councilman Burnett to approve the replat. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented the replat of lot 1 -F, City Block 306 for <br />the Council's consideration and approval. Motion was made by Councilman <br />Farris, seconded by Councilman Burnett to approve the replat. Motion carried <br />7 ayes, o nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petitions for rezoning: David <br />Glass, part of lot 12, City Block 223, from a General Retail (GR) to a General <br />Retail and Specific use Permit - Auto Fuel Sales; Calvin Gibson, and Reginald <br />Hodges, part of lots 12 and 13, City Block 157, from a multi - family one District <br />to a Commercial District. <br />Mayor Malone referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning Commission for <br />their study and recommendations and called for a public hearing at the next <br />regular council meeting. <br />Mayor Malone announced the next order of business would be consideration of <br />recommendations made by the Traffic Commission. <br />City Manager Sokoll recommended that authorization be given for the preparation <br />of an Ordinance concerning the installation of stop signs on 29th Street S. E. <br />at Loop 286; 6th Street, S. E. at Loop 286; 7th Street, S. W. at Loop 286; Old <br />Brookston Road at Loop 286; 3rd S. E. Street at Loop 286; and Jefferson Road <br />at Loop 286. Motion was made by Councilman Farris, seconded by Councilman <br />Wunsch authorizing the preparation of an Ordinance to be presented at a future <br />Council meeting. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone called for the reading of Ordinance previously authorized for <br />installation of stop signs and mandatory turn markings. <br />Ordinance No. 2405 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS PROVIDING THAT <br />THE CODE OF ORDINANCE, CCIMO AM <br />F PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS BE ENDED <br />BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC- OL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH <br />(b) OF SECTION 29 -80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT <br />TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECT- <br />IVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 1978. <br />was presented. Motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
