3 a . <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1890 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore <br />in Resolution No. 1797 accept FAA Grant Offer, in the amount of <br />$145,884. 00, which became Project No. 6- 48- 0169 -04, which provided <br />for Phase 2 of "Overlay and Mark Old Portion of Runway 17 -35 <br />(4500' x 150')"; and, <br />WHEREAS, thereafter in Resolution No. 1835, Amendment No. 1 <br />to said Grant Agreement was accepted on the 14th day :of November, <br />1977; and, <br />WHEREAS, funding is available to expand such project to in- <br />clude the expansion of the apron by approximately 6, 100 square <br />yards and overlay T- hangar Taxiway, and it is to the best interest <br />of the City of Paris to expand such project by approving Amendment <br />No. 2 to Grant Agreement for such project, in the form. attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City of Paris does hereby accept the provisions of <br />Amendment No. 2 to Grant. Agreement for Project No. 6- 48- 0169 -04, <br />a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated, <br />herein for all purposes. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager, <br />Robert W. Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such amendment on behalf of the City of Paris. <br />Passed and adopted this 25th day of September, 1978. <br />ichael E.
