Councilman Williams requested that the record show that the pumps and motors <br />were on order. City Manager Sokoll advised that information had been given to <br />the Consulting Engineers and that the bids had been awarded. <br />Pir. Bob Hayter and Mr. Reaves Hayter representing Hayter Engineering Consulting <br />Firm appeared before the Council and gave an infiltration report on their <br />infiltration /inflow study. <br />City Hanager Sokoll presented a request for water and sewer service outside <br />the city limits from George and Ronnie Spencer on F1179 approximately 1,000 <br />feet northwest of the city limits. City Manager Sokoll recommended approval. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Farris, seconded by Councilman Williams <br />approving the request. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone speaking in behalf of the Committee appointed to study <br />residential garbage collection advised the Council that the Committee <br />had met and were continuing their study and would made recommendations <br />at a future Council meeting. <br />City Manager Sokoll gave a report to the Council on the water rationing <br />and current usage of water in the --ity and that he had anticipated recommend- <br />ing the lifting the water rationing now in effect, but due to the malfunction- <br />ing of a pump and motor at the old Camp Maxey Treatment Plant would not <br />recommend lifting the rationing at this time. After discussion a motion was <br />made by Councilman Philley to give the City Manager the authority to lift <br />the water rationing when the City was assured that we have proper amount <br />of water to serve the City; motion was seconded by Councilman Wunsch to <br />give the City :Manager authority to lift the water rationing. Motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 1894 resolving that by the City Council, City of Paris that <br />water rationing established in Resolution No. 1878 is to be revolked by the <br />City Manager when he is assured there is ample water. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Philley, seconded by Councilman Wunsch to approve the Resolution. <br />Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
