F1 ARTICU 17 - Definitions. (a) Joint --use costs - The costs of features used for any two. - oi more project purposes. (b) Project investment costs -.The initial cost of the Project, including: land acquisition; construction; interest during construction on the value of land, labor, and materials used for planning; and construction of the Project. (c) Specific costs - The costs of project features normally serving only one particular project 'purpose. (d) Interest during construction - An amount of interest which accrues bn expenditures for the establisliment of Project services during the period between the actual outlay and the time the Project is first made available to User for abater storage." ITF1 5: Exhibits A and B of.the contract are deleted, and new Exhibits A, R,•and C, reflecting the application of "actual final project costs to the initial 21,900 acre -feet of water supply storage covered in the original contract (Storage Space No. 1) and the additional 21,900 acre - feet of.storage space herein designated for present use.(Storage Space No. 2) and 65,800 acre --feet designated as remaining for future use storage, are attached hereto and substituted therefor. ITVf 6: Article 7c is hereby modified by; (1) Deleting; from the first sentence "in a lump sum, or annually with interest'at 3.137 percent," and; (2) Deleting the period after "Contracting Officer." in the second sentence and deleting, all of the third sentence, anii -in lieu thereof, add: "and repayment arrangements shall be in writing in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in Article 5(c)(3) for Major Capital Replacement Costs, and be made a part of this contract." EXCEPT as herein modified, all the terms and conditions of said' contract shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. THIS Supplemental Agreement is subject to the written approval of the Secretary of the Army, and shall not be binding until so approved. 8 EXHIBIT A .-y b
