37 Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Dixie Harlan for a change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial District (C) on part of Lot 1, City Block 319 located on the northeast corner of Loop 286 N. E. and F.M. Highway 195. Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear. and Mr. A. W. Clem appeared in behalf of the petitioner stating that the property had been sold on option to owners in Dallas with provisions in the purchase contract for rezoning. Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and nono appeared. Mayor Malone declared the public hebririg closed and Ordinance No. 2422 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMM.ERCtAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 1, CITY BLOCk 319, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DIXIE HARLAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGN - ATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COAMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman Fisher for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. Council- man Farris abstaining from voting. Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of James and Robert Moseley for a change in zoning from a General Retail District and Multi- Family Dwelling District No. 1 to a Planned Development- Shopping Center on Lots 3, 4, and 5, City Block 102-C, located.on the west side of 17th S. E. south of Lamar Ave.' Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. James Moseley appeared stating that Mini Warehouses was proposed for the area with location and construction of the Warehouses so situated that future development could be made into a Shopping Center. Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared. ORDINANCE N0. 2423 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, SHOPP- ING CENTER(PD -a), ON LOTS 3, 4, AND 5, CITY BLOCK 501-C, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES D. MOSELEY AND ROBERT MOSELEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORZBRLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1 (MF -1), AND DE- SIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, SHOPPING CENTER (PD -a), SO ESTABLISHED. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
