37 <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Dixie Harlan <br />for a change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial <br />District (C) on part of Lot 1, City Block 319 located on the northeast corner <br />of Loop 286 N. E. and F.M. Highway 195. <br />Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear. and Mr. A. W. Clem appeared in <br />behalf of the petitioner stating that the property had been sold on option <br />to owners in Dallas with provisions in the purchase contract for rezoning. <br />Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and nono appeared. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hebririg closed and Ordinance No. 2422 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED <br />BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMM.ERCtAL DISTRICT <br />(C) ON A PART OF LOT 1, CITY BLOCk 319, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />DIXIE HARLAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGN - <br />ATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES <br />OF THE COAMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman <br />Fisher for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. Council- <br />man Farris abstaining from voting. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of James and <br />Robert Moseley for a change in zoning from a General Retail District and <br />Multi- Family Dwelling District No. 1 to a Planned Development- Shopping <br />Center on Lots 3, 4, and 5, City Block 102-C, located.on the west side of <br />17th S. E. south of Lamar Ave.' <br />Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. James Moseley appeared <br />stating that Mini Warehouses was proposed for the area with location and <br />construction of the Warehouses so situated that future development could be <br />made into a Shopping Center. <br />Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 2423 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING <br />MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, SHOPP- <br />ING CENTER(PD -a), ON LOTS 3, 4, AND 5, CITY BLOCK 501-C, ON PROPERTY <br />BELONGING TO JAMES D. MOSELEY AND ROBERT MOSELEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORZBRLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT <br />(GR) AND A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1 (MF -1), AND DE- <br />SIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, <br />SHOPPING CENTER (PD -a), SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
