r--r <br />City Attorney Haynes reported on the Gas Utility Docket Case No. 500 concerning <br />Lone Star Gas Co. and stated that protests had been filed on behalf of the City of <br />Paris in this matter which involves natural gas costs between Lo Vaca Gathering, <br />Co. and Lone Star Gas Co. <br />His protest included arguments for a pass thru of savings on gas costs to customers <br />of Lone. BRUNETTE, D.D.S <br />MAYOR <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />April 12, 1978 <br />J <br />A Special meeting of the City Council was held on Wednesday, April 12, 1978 . at 7 :00 P.M. <br />Mayor James M. Brunette called the meeting to order with the following Councilmen pre - <br />sent: George Fisher, Jr., Michael Malone, Walter F. Williams and Raymond Wunsch. Also <br />present were Acting City Manager H. C. Greene, City Attorney T. K. Haynes and Acting <br />City Clerk Joe N. McCollum. <br />Mayor Brunette announced the first order of business was to canvass the returns of the <br />April 1st, 1978 election. He read the official returns from districts 1, 2, 3 and 6 <br />and declared the results. <br />Mayor Brunette then called for the reading of the Resolution. Resolution No. 1859 <br />declaring George Fisher, Jr. the winner in District 19 Walter F. Williams in District 29 <br />Billy J. Burnett in District .3 and James W. Farris in District 6, was presented by City <br />Attorney Haynes. Councilman Williams made a motion for adoption of the resolution. <br />Councilman Wunsch seconded the motion which carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.. <br />2 <br />
