NORA J. FORD, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE - FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED." was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wunsch and seconded by Councilman Burnett adopting the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Councilman Williams declared the public hearing open to consider the petition of Junior Ray Hall for a change in zoning from a Two Family Dwelling District to a Commercial District (C) on Lot 3, City Block 88, located on the East side of 7th. Street N.W. Councilman Williams called for proponents to appear and none appeared. Zoning Ordinance No. "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 88, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JUNIOR RAY HALL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TT-70-FAMILY DWELL- ING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.`° was presented. Motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Burnett for adoption of the Ordinance. The vote showed 1 aye, 6 nays and the ordinance failed. City Manager Sokoll presented the final plat of Dorchester Place No. 2 which was recommended by the Planning and. Zoning Commission for approval subject to exceptions listed in the Director of Public Works memorandum dated May 1, 1978. Motion was made by Councilman Farris and seconded by Councilman Wunsch for approval of the Final plat subject to the exceptions made by the Director of Public Works. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. City Manager Sokoll presented the final plat of Morningside Estates No. 8 which was recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission subject to the exceptions of the Director of Public Works noted in his memorandum dated May 1, 1978. A motion was made by Mayor Malone, seconded by Councilman Wunsch to approve the final plat subject to the exceptions listed by the Director of Public Works. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
