Mayor Brunette advised that the next order of business would be recommendation made. by the Traffic Commission at its meeting on December 3, 1974. City Manager Sweatt stated that the Traffic Commission recommended the relocation of a Loading Zone in the first block of Clarksville Street to improve.visability. Mr. Sweatt recommended that the Loading Zone be moved 40 feet west. A motion was made by Councilman Moore and seconded by Councilman Hutchison that the recommendation be approved. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. In accordance with FAA recommendations, amendments to the Airport Operating Manual were presented and recommended for adoption by the city manager. Resolution No. 1650, adopting Change 3 to the Operations Manual for Cox Field, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Stone and seconded by Councilman Whitaker that the resolution be adopted. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. RESOLUTION NO. 1650 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did, on the 26th day of October, 1972, by Resolution No. 1519, adopt the "Operations Manual for Cox Field, Paris, Texas "; and, WHEREAS, the Airport Manager did prepare Change 3, dated 1 November 1974, to said Operations Manual, and presented the same to the Airport Advisory Board, wherein adoption was recommended; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is in agree- ment with the content of said Change 3, "Operations Manual for Cox Field, Paris, Texas "; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Change 3 to "Operations Manual for Cox Field, Paris, Texas ", dated 1 November 1974, be, and the same is hereby adopted. -- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said Change 3 be filed with the City Clerk -of the City of Paris as a part of the offi- cial records of the City of Paris.
