3a <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Stone and seconded by Council- <br />man Hutchison for approval of the ordinance. The motion carried:-7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Brunette then asked for a motion to extend the present license to cover <br />the proposed Mobile Home Park upon completion of al?, the requirements. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Hutchison, seconded by Councilman Stone to <br />extend Mrs. Binnion's license to cover Lots 10, IDA and 11, City Block 117, <br />provided compliance with Mobile Home Park License requirements and other <br />appropriate-City ordinances. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented two petitions for re- zoning. Number one i >!as <br />the petition of Sandra Pearl Ingram for a chance in zoning from a (2 -F) Two - <br />Family Dwelling District to a Neighborhood Service District on Lots 7 and 8, <br />Block 227E. Number two was a petition of D. A. Ensey, Jr. for a change in <br />zoning from a One- Family District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Commercial District on Lot <br />11, City Block 316. <br />Mayor .Brunette referred the petition to tie Planning and Zoning Commission for <br />their study and recommendations at their regular meeting May Sth and called <br />for a public hearing at the next regular council meeting on May 12, 1975. <br />Mayor Brunette stated the next item was to consider the recommendation by <br />the Traffic Commission that a No Parking Zone be established on the north side <br />of Santa Fe Street from N. slain to 1st Street N.E. Discussion followed and <br />Mayor Brunette asked for a motion to approve or disapprove the No Parking Zone. <br />Councilman King made a motion that a No Parking Zone be established on the <br />north side of Santa Fe Street from N. Main to-lst N.E: Street. Councilman <br />Stone seconded the motion. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Councilman Whitaker briefed the Council on the Joint City School Committee <br />meeting and reviewed the discussion of a proposed use of the old high <br />school property for Post Office parking. No action was taken by the Council <br />at this time. <br />Councilman Hutchison gave a report of his committee regarding naming of the <br />27/30th Street. He stated that one meeting had been held and that they had <br />requested some additional information before making any specific recommendations <br />He stated that there are some large problems involved but hoped to have a <br />recommendation for the Council by the next meeting. <br />Mayor Brunette stated that the next item was to consider a second reading of <br />the ordinance granting a franchise to the First National Bank of Paris for <br />the operation of a connector tube from the First National Bank Building to <br />the proposed drive -in on the west end of the First National Park« nq Lot. <br />Franchise Ordinance No. <br />" AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF <br />PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, TO USE A PORTION OF THE SPACE: UNDER THE <br />SURFACE OF THE SIDE�IVALK, PARKWAY AND STREET RIGHT OF WAY, BEGIN- <br />NING AT THE ORIGINAL NORTH HALL OF THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK <br />BUILDING AND PROCEEDING NORTH IN SAID PARKWAY TO THE SOUTH BOUN- <br />
