City Manager Sweatt presented the final plat of Morningside Estates, Part 6, and re- commended its approval subject to the engineer's requirements. City Attorney Haynes presented a petition from Tommy E. Simmons, to re -zone Lot 22 -B, Block 249, from a One- Family Dwelling District No. 2 to an Office District, Specific Use - Greenhouse and Nursery for Retail Plant Sales and Florist. Mayor Brunette referred the petition to the Planning and Zoning Commission for its study and recommendation and called for a public hearing at the next regular Coun- cil meeting.
