A motion was made <br />by Councilman Swaim and seconded by Councilman Williams to approve the final plat <br />subject to requirements of the engineers. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented a petition from Tommy E. Simmons, to re -zone Lot <br />22 -B, Block 249, from a One- Family Dwelling District No. 2 to an Office District, <br />Specific Use - Greenhouse and Nursery for Retail Plant Sales and Florist. <br />Mayor Brunette referred the petition to the Planning and Zoning Commission for its <br />study and recommendation and called for a public hearing at the next regular Coun- <br />cil meeting. <br />
